    • What do you think about Calvin Johnson talking about the Lions and not such a good way. I think Calvin should be at peace since he is retired and not be so sour grapes that the Lions asked him to return some of the signing bonus would have had to take a pay cut if he didn’t retire now it’s because the Lions weren’t close to getting to SB. I’m in the hear and now and about the past hope that Calvin & the Lions will become family once it’s closer to the Hall Of Fame calling like Barry Sanders.

      • Yeah I’m honestly getting sick of Calvin running his mouth it’s really ruining his legacy and the way people think about him but we’ve been through this before with Barry Sanders so I’m hoping at some point they sit down gather up the peace because Calvin was so loved here as a player.

The thing I hate the most about his comments about the team and quitting on the team is that I feel like he’s taking shots at his teammates who had nothing to do with his retirement. Like Stafford was your quarterback you should be in his corner like the old Packers receivers were with Brett Favre after he changed teams and Rodgers over the years as well.

I think what happened with Calvin is that he’s not at peace with his retirement and he’s probably regretting that decision now because his career didn’t end on a happy note.

In my opinion I think Calvin should’ve either hanged on or the Lions should’ve traded him I really think Bob Quinn would’ve eventually traded him if the team wasn’t a playoff contender.

He was wrong on his thoughts about the team obviously they weren’t a SB contender last year and probably won’t be this year but they’re getting close to making their first SB trip this team feels like like the Saints back in the mid-2000s before they won their first SB as Stafford is getting Brees status and the team is getting way better around him.

To me I will hate to see Calvin deal with the team reaching new grounds without him this is why he should’ve never retired that early. Players need to learn from Calvin’s situation that although you’re going to have your health which is important but your mental state will be shot if you leave without reaching your full potential.
