Amazon Picks Up Anna Paquin Dramedy ‘Flack’

Amazon has acquired the rights to the second season of British dramedy “Flack,” starring Anna Paquin, which was abruptly canceled by Pop TV just before its second season premiere. The streamer will stream the first two seasons of “Flack,” which consists of 12 episodes, and has an option for a potential third season.

The series follows Paquin as Robyn (Paquin), an American publicist in London who is excellent at fixing the ridiculous predicaments her clients get into but is terrible at keeping her personal life from spinning out of control. Sam Neill (“Jurassic Park”) and Daniel Dae Kim (“Lost,” “Hawaii Five-O”) joined the cast in the second season. “Flack” also stars Sophie Okonedo, Lydia Wilson, Rebecca Benson, Genevieve Angelson, Rufus Jones, Arinze Kene. Other Season 2 guest stars include Jane Horrocks, Giles Terera and Amanda Abbington, reprising her role as Alexa.
