Apple Orders Limited Drama ‘My Glory Was I Had Such Friends’

Apple has given a straight-to-series order to a one-hour limited drama from J.J. Abrams  via his Bad Robot Productions banner called “My Glory Was I Had Such Friends.” The series reunites Abrams with Jennifer Garner, who worked together on spy drama “Alias,” and is based on the best-selling memoir by Amy Silverstein. The logline: “My Glory Was I Had Such Friends” showcases the power of friendship and the resilience of the human spirit as it follows an extraordinary group of women who supported Silverstein as she waited for a second life-saving heart transplant.

“My Glory Was I Had Such Friends” is expected to debut in 2019.
