The 11th iteration of the World Games will be held from the 7th through the 17th of July.

The games were initially scheduled to take place in 2021, but they were moved up to this year because of the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic has had.

The athletes playing in the games come from more than one hundred different counties, and for the first time ever, there is a team competing in lacrosse that represents an indigenous ethnic group. This team is Iroquois.

According to the organizers, the number of male and female competitors is approximately equal in number.

There will be a variety of events within some of the disciplines, such as artistic, inline hocket, and speed skating competitions within the category of roller sport.
