Borussia Dortmund welcome Club Brugge to Germany on Tuesday in Champions League group stage play as the two square off on Matchday 4. Dortmund leads group F with six points, while Brugge is still in the fight in third place with four points. The two played on Matchday 3 in Belgium, with Dortmund winning 3-0.
Borussia Dortmund is currently top of Group F, with six points at the halfway stage. A win against Club Brugge at the Westfalenstadion would all but guarantee them a spot in the Round of 16. Lucien Favre has confirmed that he will ring in the changes, as he looks to keep his squad fit and fresh for the packed schedule. Marcel Schmelzer (rehab after knee surgery) and Reinier Jesus (COVID-19) are the two absentees for Borussia Dortmund. Although Dan-Axel Zagadou will likely miss the game as well, having just returned to training after a long lay-off. Thomas Delaney is also a doubt after missing the game in Berlin.

Borussia Dortmund vs Club Brugge Live Stream
Borussia Dortmund welcome Club Brugge to the Signal Iduna Park on Tuesday night for a UEFA Champions League Group F clash. Club Brugge are currently two points behind Borussia Dortmund, who are top of the group. Lazio is hot on the Germans’ heels as well, only a point behind them. A win in this game would put Borussia Dortmund in pole position to qualify from the group, with Lazio playing FC Zenit in the other game in the group on Tuesday. Borussia Dortmund was excellent in the second half against Hertha Berlin in their Bundesliga match on Saturday night, after going into the break 1-0 down. Erling Braut Haaland scored four goals as they eventually won the game 5-2.
Dortmund: Erling Haaland is in fantastic form after scoring four goals in the win at Hertha Berlin, and he enters this game tied as the UCL’s top scorer alongside Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford, Liverpool’s Diogo Jota, and Juventus’ Alvaro Morata. He should be able to add to it here, despite Brugge’s above-average quality in defense. The Belgian side struggles with physical strikers, especially on low balls from the wing, so this should be a game where Haaland can find the back of the net at least once.
Club Brugge: On a two-game winning streak entering this one thanks to wins in league play, confidence will be high, even more so knowing that a win could potentially move them into first place. Easier said than done, but the team shows cohesion and has a belief in them that they can get a result. For that to happen though, Dortmund has to have an off game in attack, because they’ll get the chances. A draw here would feel like a win.

The Infogol Analyst Verdict for today’s match between Borussia Dortmund and Club Brugge is to bet on Both Teams To Score.
Dortmund set for the high scoring win
Borussia Dortmund bounced back from their home loss to rivals Bayern Munich at the weekend with a 5-2 mauling of Hertha Berlin, with prodigy Erling Braut Haaland again making the headlines. The 20-year-old scored four goals in the rout, taking his tally to 14 in the Bundesliga and Champions League this season. The young Norwegian is on fire right now, and he’ll be expected to play a leading role in what should be a comfortable win for the German side.
Dortmund has won five of their last six games and has recovered admirably from that matchday one loss at Lazio, winning 2-0 and 3-0 against Zenit and Club Brugge respectively. That 3-0 loss to Dortmund was Brugge’s first defeat of the group stages, but another one could be on the cards here and it could be another humbling evening for the visitors. Borussia Dortmund has scored at least three goals on six occasions in all competitions this season and at home, they have averaged 2.8 goals per game this season. They have scored at least three goals in three of their five home games, netting twice in each of the remaining two games.
