The Open Championship of 2022 will be the 150th edition of the event. It is listed in the PGA Tour, European Tour, and Japan Golf Tour Calendar under the major championship category. The management recently revealed a prize fund of $14,000,000 for the event.

Additionally, a total of 156 golfers will participate in the event. Golf legend, Tiger Woods recently confirmed his appearance in the event. Thus, fans are eager to see the initiation of tomorrow’s most anticipated golf event.

British Open 2022 Date, Time, and Venue:

The British Open begins on July 14. It will be a 4-day event running till July 17. Tomorrow at 01:35 AM EDT, the first group will tee off. Firstly, groups of three will participate for the first two days. Following two days, groups of two will partake in the event. The organizers will decide on groups.

The R&A is organizing the event. It will be held on the Old Course at St Andrews, Scotland. It is a 72-hole stroke course. Thus, players will compete for 18 holes per day.
