Four months after taking a leave of absence from CBS daytime chatfest “The Talk” to deal with some health issues comes word that Carrie Ann Inaba will not be returning. The “Dancing With the Stars” judge replaced Julie Chen Moonves in 2019.

In an Instagram post of August 20, Inaba said: “Today’s daily essential is this: ‘Live in gratitude, for all that is, was, and will be.’ And with that thought, I want to announce that today The Talk, CBS, and I have mutually agreed to part ways. I just want to say that I’m filled with gratitude for this experience and this chapter of my life that has been ‘The Talk’.”

Inaba’s leave of absence comes on the heels of Sharon Osbourne exiting “The Talk.” Jerry O’Connell will be joining the panel on “The Talk” this fall, bit there is no word at present who fill step in for Inaba. Inaba, mean while, will be returning as a judge on ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars.”
