CBS Scores its Largest Weekly Audience in Almost Two Years

Largest Weekly Audience for Any Broadcast Network in Over One Year

Ignited by the AFC Championship Game, Buffalo Bills at Kansas City Chiefs, on Sunday, CBS led the week of January 18 with 10.41 million viewers (#1), according to the Live+Same Day data from Nielsen Media Research. CBS posted the largest weekly audience for any network since the week ending Feb. 2, 2020 (Fox’s Super Bowl 54 week). This is CBS’s largest weekly audience since the week ending Feb. 3, 2019 (CBS’ Super Bowl 53 week). The network also finished first in adults 25-54 (2.9) and adults 18-49 (2.3).

 The AFC Championship delivered a whopping 41.85 million viewers, which is now the season’s largest audience for any program.
