CBS’ Veteran ’60 Minutes’ Makes the Top 10 for the 14th Consecutive Week

Eye net granddaddy newsmagazine ’60 Minutes’ drew an audience of 10 million viewers to finish the week as the #4 ranked primetime broadcast, making the top 10 for the 14th consecutive time, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, January 3. It was the sixth time over eight telecasts the broadcast ranked at #5 or better.

“60 Minutes” also made the top 10 in demos, scoring a 1.7/07 in adults 25-54 that ranked #9 and a 1.2/06 in adults 18-49 that tied for #9. The telecast featured a Scott Pelley story on victims of internet harassment fighting back, Sharyn Alfonsi’s report on the case of Curtis Flowers who was tried six times for the same crime, and a profile of the German piano star Igor Levit by Jon Wertheim.
