Chicago Cubs Win Their First World Series in 108 Years

The longest championship drought in a major American professional sport is no longer the Chicago Cubs without a world title since 1908, as of late night on Nov. 2, 2016. In a classic Game 7 against the Cleveland Indians, the Cubs won 8-7 in 10 innings to become 2016 World Champions.
