Ratings Breakdown:

It was a clean household overnight sweep for CBS care of its combination of granddaddy “60 Minutes” (#1: for the night: 8.2 rating/14 share), “NCIS: Los Angeles” (7.3/12), which successfully moved into the Sunday 8 p.m. hour this season, “Madam Secretary” (6.0/10) and “Elementary” (3.9/ 5). After five marginally rated season (and enough episodes for off-network), my prediction is “Elementary” will be ending this spring.

In the distant No. 2 spot was annual special “Miss Universe,” hosted by Steve Harvey and Ashley Graham, at a 3.5/6 share in the household overnights from 7-10 p.m. on Fox. The peak half-hour was, as expected, 9:30 p.m., at a 4.5/ 7. And, thankfully, Steve Harvey got the winner’s name correct this time!

Elsewhere, freshman drama “Conviction” concluded on ABC with a mere 1.7/ 3 (#3) in the 10 p.m. hour. Earlier in the evening on ABC was an encore telecast of “America’s Funniest Home Videos” (#2: 3.3/ 6 at 7 p.m.) into back-to-back episodes of game show revival “To Tell the Truth” (8 p.m.: #3, 2.8/ 4; 9 p.m.: #3, 2.4/ 4). NBC populated the evening with two repeat episodes of “Celebrity Apprentice” (an embarrassing 0.9/ 1 from 7-9 p.m.) and a two-hour installment of newsmagazine “Dateline” (2.6/ 4 from 9-11 p.m.).
