Daytime Talker ‘Maury’ Renewed Through 2022

The 81-Year Old Host Continues to Go Strong

Syndicated daytime talk show “Maury,” hosted by Maury Povich, has been renewed by NBCUniversal for two more seasons, taking it through 2022.

“Like my father used to say about his marriage to my mother after 60 years, we take this one decade at a time. With the ‘Maury’ show and NBC, it’s a great marriage,” Povich said.

“It has been a blessing not only to work alongside Maury Povich for the past two decades, but with our NBCUniversal family as well,” said executive producer Paul Faulhaber. “I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to continue to create more compelling, entertaining content for our loyal viewers. Their support over the years has been nothing short of extraordinary.”

For the 2019-20 season, “Maury” has an average of 1.6 million daily viewers and continues to resonate key women, men, and adult demographics with one of the youngest audiences in the daytime syndication landscape.

The daytime strip is produced by Stamford Media Center Productions, the same production team behind NBCU’s “The Steve Wilkos Show,” “The Jerry Springer Show,” and “Judge Jerry.”
