● Skin Care and New Skin Care Technologies
Skin care has never been such a hot topic. As part of this special episode, Dr. Jejurikar and his co-hosts welcome guest Nina Owen, the regional director of EpiCentre Skin Care & Laser Center. The four discuss everything from the types of products people should be using to men’s skincare routines and why antioxidants are important.

“One of the things that I find myself having conversations with patients [about] a lot is just how to formulate a skincare regimen. It seems like a lot of patients will go to an expensive department store or spend several hundred dollars on skincare products,” explains Dr. Jejurikar.

● Hottest News in Plastic Surgery
Ever wondered what the hottest trends are? What about how the pandemic has changed the world of cosmetic surgery? Episode eight of “3 Plastic Surgeons and a Microphone” gives you all the answers that you’ve been looking for. ● Top 10 Myths About Aging
Don’t believe everything you hear. In this enlightening episode of the podcast, Dr. Jejurikar and his co-hosts take a deep dive into some of the top myths about aging. From the notion that plastic surgery can accelerate aging to the idea that your face gets fatter as you age, the hosts cover it all. The insightful talk is sure to lift your spirits. What’s more, they even address the number one myth about aging: that people are scared of getting older.

“People shouldn’t fear aging, because you can, you can look right. You can be very healthy. You can have a… more fulfilling life than you did when you were younger because you have the experience… but it doesn’t mean people don’t fear it,” says Dr. Jejurikar.

● Beautifying Your Face
At the start of episode seven, Dr. Jejurikar and his co-hosts discuss the recent #MedBikini hashtag that has taken hold on social media. “I think it is demonstrative of the bias that we’ve had in surgery for decades, you know, centuries where there’s been an element of misogyny… For years, surgery was a male-dominated profession, regardless of what specialty you’re looking at,” says Dr. Jejurikar as part of the wider discussion.

After covering that, the hosts move on to the main topic of beautifying your face. The three plastic surgeons talk about the procedures that people may choose when it comes to their facial surgery options. Aside from that, they also look at some pictures of well-known celebrities who have had cosmetic surgery and speak about each. The episode is a complete overview of how you can beautify yourself through surgery.

● Common Myths in Plastic Surgery
Forget everything you think you know about surgery. The third episode of “3 Plastic Surgeons and a Microphone” looks at some of the common misconceptions about cosmetic surgery. These myths included the idea that plastic surgery is expensive or unaffordable, facial procedures look unnatural, breast implants need to be replaced every 10 years, and Botox is dangerous because it contains poison.

If you are entirely new to the world of plastic surgery, listening to this engaging episode is a good place to start. Dr. Jejurikar and his co-hosts give their unfiltered opinions on all of the above plus some additional industry topics. Each of the surgeons gave a brief overview of the COVID-19 restrictions and how they are keeping their customers safe.

● Things You Need to Know Before Plastic Surgery
Thinking of getting plastic surgery? If you’ve toyed with the idea of having a certain procedure done, you will want to know the facts first. There are many testimonials and patient sites out there, but why not go straight to the horse’s mouth? In this episode, Dr. Jejurikar and his co-hosts reveal everything that you should know ahead of time.

“I think this is a great topic to get our perspective on, mainly because patients, compared to 10 years ago, use the internet so much more than they ever did,” says Dr. Jejurikar. “And being able to get a plastic surgeon’s perspective on things rather than, you know, merely just a patient perspective is a nice adjunct to what’s out there.”

Dr. Jejurikar believes that this podcast could help many patients better understand procedures before they undertake them. “I don’t think we’re the definitive source, but I think our opinion matters as much as if not more so than patient sites as well. Hopefully, if my patients watch this, it’ll save me a lot of time and consultations,” he says.
