‘Dr. Oz’ Renewed Through 2018-19

The Pick-Ups Takes the Daytime Talker Through 10 Seasons

Syndicated first-run talk show mainstay “Dr. Oz” has been renewed through the 2018-19 season, which will take it through 10 seasons. Debuting on Sept. 14, 2009, the renewal is a result of a deal between distributor Sony Pictures Television and Fox Stations Group, which carries the show in the largest U.S. markets.

For comparative purposes, what follows is a season to-date chart among all first-run talk shows in households (through May 27). Of the 14 shows listed, “Dr. Oz” is tied with “Rachael Ray” and “Steve Wilkos” for No. 7 overall.
