Fox Renews ‘Bones’ For 12-Episode Final Season

This Takes the David Boreanaz / Emily Deschanel Crime Solver into Season 12

Veteran Fox crime solver “Bones,” which was considered iffy on renewal given the recent profit participation lawsuit filed by stars David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel, and executive producers Barry Josephson and Kathleen Reich, will officially conclude next season with a 12-episode order. Debuting on Sept. 13, 2005, this will take “Bones” through 12 seasons and 246 episodes, which historically is the longest running scripted drama on Fox.

“Bones” is currently on hiatus and will return on Thursday, April 14.
