Fox Renews Drama ‘The Gifted’ for Season Two

Season One Finale Airs Next Monday

Fox has greenlit adventure series “The Gifted” for a second season, with an unconfirmed number of new episodes for 2018-19. The current first season finale, an expanded two-hour edition airing in the Monday 8-10 p.m. block on Monday, Jan. 15, marks the 13th episode of the series.

Debuting on Oct. 2, “The Gifted” ranks as the No. 3 new drama of current season with a 2.0 rating/7 share in adults 18-49, based on the Live + 7 Day data. Comparably, this is 18 percent above the year-ago time period average.

”The Gifted” is produced by 20th Century Fox Television in association with Marvel Television. Matt Nix (“Burn Notice”), Bryan Singer (the “X-Men” franchise), Lauren Shuler Donner (“X-Men: Apocalypse,” “X-Men: Days of Future Past”), Simon Kinberg (“X-Men: Apocalypse,” “X-Men: Days of Future Past”) and Marvel’s Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory serve as executive producers.
