Fox Renews ‘Mental Samurai’ for Season 2

Fox has greenlit competition series “Mental Samurai,” hosted by Rob Lowe, for a second season. Debuting on Match 19, 2019, the series features contestants answering knowledge-based questions while being moved around by a large robot arm in the show’s specially designed capsule that can rotate 360°.

“The show fires on every single level,” added Mike Darnell, President, Warner Bros. Unscripted and Alternative Television. “Rob Lowe, the producing team, the set, the technology and the network. We couldn’t ask for a more perfect combination.”

The second season of “Mental Samurai” will launch on Fox on Wednesday, April 22 at 9 p.m. ET. The series is produced by Warner Horizon Television, A. Smith & Co. Productions, and Apploff Entertainment.
