Friday Final Nationals: U.S. Open Golf Second Round on Fox Sinks to 3-Year Low

CBS was Friday night’s most-watched network with an average of 4.79 million viewers, while NBC topped all the evening’s key demos.

Round two of the “2017 U.S. Open” golf tournament on Fox from Erin Hills in Wisconsin (1.92 million) was down 14 percent from the U.S. Open second round of one year ago (2.2 million) and down 34 percent from 2015 (2.9 million). It was the least-watched U.S. Open second round since NBC’s Friday afternoon coverage back in 2014 (1.8 million).
