‘Tis the season for holiday specials, leftovers and encore telecasts, which is why the most-watched network, CBS, could only muster 2.73 million viewers. The Eye net featured two episodes of time period filler “Greatest #AtHome Videos”, which averaged 2.54 million viewers (#2) and a 0.2 rating/2 share in the Friday 8-10 p.m. ET block. That led into a repeat of “Blue Bloods” at 10 p.m.
Fox’s victory in adults 18-49 (if you can call a 0.5 rating a “victory”) was a result, of course, of “WWE Friday Night Smackdown!”
Elsewhere, ABC featured “Shark Tank” (Viewers: #1 for the night; A18-49: #2, 0.4/ 4 at 8 p.m.) and a repeat of “20/20.” NBC populated the night with animated 2016 film “Sing” (Viewers: #3, 2.22; A18-49: #2t, 0.3/ 3 from 8-10 p.m.) and a one-hour edition of “Dateline” (Viewers: #2, 2.39 million; A18-49: #3, 0.2/ 2 at 10 p.m.). And The CW featured the annual “Hollywood Christmas Parade.” See network averages above.
