Tired of the slot machines? Had your fill of showgirls and buffets? There’s so much more to do in Las Vegas, like checking out a top-tier show. Your biggest challenge may be choosing which next-level extravaganza you’ll take in next. In 2023, these top-level Las Vegas performers will take to Sin City stages.

Multimedia Las Vegas Spectaculars

A world-class multimedia show is an event audiences won’t forget. The talented performers, the staging, the lighting, the special effects, and the music come together to create a truly multisensory experience.

O by Cirque du Soleil

Just as the planet is connected to the fluid oceans, Cirque du Soleil’s O is connected to a mesmerizing, seemingly bottomless pool. O takes place at the Bellagio Resort & Casino, where a dreamy theater setting creates a backdrop for otherworldly adventures.

Whirling acrobats, skilled divers, synchronized swimmers, and whimsical street performers revel in their interplay with the water. A ghost ship encounter, a romantic aerial duet, and an epic fire-and-water duel hold attendees in rapt attention. Note: While children 5 and up are welcome at all O performances, some little ones may be frightened by intermittent darkness and loud noises.

The Beatles: LOVE by Cirque du Soleil

In any celebration of The Beatles, there’s plenty of love to go around. The Beatles: LOVE by Cirque du Soleil, set on a circular stage at The Mirage Hotel & Casino, is infused with this powerful emotion. The infectious “mop tops” soundtrack sets the mood for an epic trek through the Fab Four’s musical legacy.

Acrobats, aerialists, and dancers abound on the ground and in the air. Psychedelic 1960s imagery meshes perfectly with 21st-century technology. And throughout it all, The Beatles’ music reminds everyone that “All you need is love.”

Michael Jackson: ONE by Cirque du Soleil

This glitzy multimedia show certainly does the legendary King of Pop justice. Michael Jackson: ONE by Cirque du Soleil takes place at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. Sophisticated lighting, epic holographics, high-quality sound, and soul-stirring music give a glimpse into Jackson’s chart-topping catalog.

The storyline features four young misfits who find themselves launched into mind-boggling undertakings thanks to MJ’s otherworldly touch. Classic Michael Jackson hits and his trademark smooth dance moves infuse this production with electrifying energy. Note: Children under 5 cannot attend Michael Jackson: ONE. Guests aged 5 to 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Blue Man Group

The wildly celebrated Blue Man Group defies description, yet audiences can’t get enough of them. These three bright blue gents have taken over the Luxor Resort & Casino stage, and they show no signs of giving it back.

Each all-ages BMG show switches between a rock concert and an improv comedy routine, and no two performances are the same. Blue Man Group clearly revels in the opportunity to indulge their inner child. They delight in taking the public along on their imaginative, colorful excursion.

Musical Artists in Residence

Since Sinatra and Presley ruled the roost, Las Vegas has been host to some of the biggest stars taking up a concert residency along the Strip. Among Las Vegas performers, a musical artist in residence has a certain cachet. Typically at the top of their careers, internationally known performers have had multiyear Las Vegas residencies. And 2023 is no exception.

Carlos Santana

Watching Carlos Santana commune with his guitar is comparable to watching Pablo Picasso paint a masterpiece. Santana invites listeners to join him on this creative odyssey, which takes place on select dates through May 2023. The House of Blues at Mandalay Bay provides an intimate setting for each energizing and soulful performance.

A Carlos Santana concert is music for the ages. Audiences will hear Santana’s memorable hits like “Evil Ways” and “Black Magic Woman” along with his riffs on other genres and performers. Every song is infused with Santana’s extraordinary guitar skills and legendary vibe.

Carrie Underwood

“Good Girl” Carrie Underwood rose from the rarefied ranks of American Idol winners to top the pop and country charts. On select dates from June through December 2023, Underwood will grace the Resorts World Theater.

Underwood’s Reflection concert series features songs that have shaped her musical evolution. She’ll also unveil new compositions that will define her future. Either way, everyone’s in for a real treat.

Miranda Lambert

Miranda Lambert’s Velvet Road concert isn’t your grandmother’s country music show. Known as a “modern country” trailblazer, she’s currently strutting her stuff at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Lambert’s residency continues on select dates in March and April 2023.

With her honeyed voice and sassy style, the “White Liar” songstress immediately builds a close rapport with her fans. While she’s received many country music industry accolades, Lambert retains the “down home” vibe and relatability that define her charm.

Rod Stewart

In the world of classic rock ’n’ roll, Sir Rod Stewart stands out as true rock royalty. Currently in residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, this evergreen rocker will appear on select dates in May 2023 and November 2023.

Stewart’s decades-long music career has given him numerous trademark hits like “Maggie May” and “You Wear it Well” to share. Besides classic Stewart tunes (and other songs), he infuses each show with his particular brand of British humor.

Irreverent Comedians

With so many things to do in Las Vegas besides gambling, comedy takes center stage! Side-splitting funny folks are masters of their material and delivery. These in-demand Las Vegas headliners have finely honed their routines, and each one “leaves ‘em laughing” every time.

Rich Little

In the world of American comedy, Rich Little has carved out his own distinctive niche. This master impersonator holds court at the Laugh Factory at the Tropicana Las Vegas. On select days, the curtain goes up at 7 p.m. for a 60-minute comedy show the all-ages viewers won’t soon forget. With over 200 voices in his repertoire, Little delights audiences from toddlers to great-grandparents.

During Little’s career, he’s mastered the voices and mannerisms of movie stars, top entertainers, and even U.S. presidents. He derives much of his material from well-known vintage television series such as Laugh-In and The Tonight Show. He gleefully impersonates classic cartoon characters as well. Each Little performance is a master class in comedy.

Carrot Top

For something refreshingly different and utterly original, Scott “Carrot Top” Thompson’s brand of zany humor raises the laugh factor at the Luxor’s Atrium Showroom. Every Monday through Thursday evening, Carrot Top scrambles an assortment of everyday props while delivering a nonstop patter of outrageous gags.

Carrot Top’s devilishly funny commentary on life leaves no stone unturned. In other words, no subject is off-limits ─ including himself. Note: Due to adult humor, Carrot Top show audience members must be 16 years or older.

Mesmerizing Magicians

In the mysterious world of magic, only the top magicians materialize on the Las Vegas stage. Each performer’s show has a distinctive vibe, and they each connect showgoers in a different way.

Criss Angel Mindfreak

The Criss Angel Mindfreak flight of fancy combines magic, illusions, and the production values of a stadium rock concert. The Mindfreak encounter takes place at the iconic Planet Hollywood.

Angel’s dramatic persona and riveting stage presence set the tone for an unforgettable evening. Besides performing his trademark illusions, Angel regularly unveils several new ones. As he travels on his Mindfreak journey, this force of nature brings the crowd along for the ride.

David Copperfield

World-renowned illusionist David Copperfield is simply in a class by himself. During each MGM Grand performance, he combines a hypnotic mix of large and small illusions. He delivers each one with a delightful mix of suspense, elegance, and artistry.

Perhaps best of all, a David Copperfield show appeals to all ages. Children, parents, and grandparents alike are captivated by his seemingly effortless illusions and his undeniable charisma.

Penn & Teller

Who knew that comedy and magic could be such an epic team? Penn & Teller, comedians and magicians extraordinaire, have delighted all ages at the Rio for a remarkable 26 years. During each performance, Penn shares captivating stories while priming the viewers for the duo’s next trick. They alternate sleight-of-hand sequences with grand illusions.

Even better, Penn & Teller create a remarkable connection with their fans. They occasionally confide some of their magic trick secrets, but they never really let the whole “cat out of the bag.” After the show, admirers are always invited to a Penn & Teller meet and greet. It’s a fitting end to a highly entertaining evening.
