FX Orders ‘American Horror Story’ Spinoff Series

New Show Will Feature Self-Contained Ghost Stories

“American Horror Story” creator Ryan Murphy announced a spinoff anthology series in the works called “American Horror Stories,” which would consist of one-hour self contained episodes instead of a season-long story arc. Each episode is described as a “standalone ghost story.”

The news comes just one week after Murphy revealed the upcoming 10th season “American Horror Story” has been pushed back until 2021 due to the coronavirus. Season 10 will star Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Evan Peters, Billie Lourd, Leslie Grossman, Adina Porter, Lily Rabe, Angelica Ross, and Finn Wittrock and the debut of Macaulay Culkin.
