FX Orders Comedy ‘Reservation Dogs’

Number of New Episodes Ordered Not Confirmed

FX has picked up “Reservation Dogs,” a half-hour comedy series from Sterlin Harjo and Taika Waititi from FX Productions. The series follows four Native teenagers in rural Oklahoma who spend their days committing crime… and fighting it.

The pilot, written by Harjo (“Four Sheets to the Wind”) and Waititi (“What We Do in the Shadows”), was directed by Harjo and shot in Okmulgee, Okla. The series will be executive produced by Harjo, Waititi and Garrett Basch (“What We Do in the Shadows”). The cast of “Reservation Dogs” includes D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai (“Creeped Out”), Devery Jacobs (“American Gods”), Paulina Alexis (“Beans”) as and newcomer Lane Factor.

“Reservation Dogs” is expected to debut in 2021.
