HBO has greenlit new seasons of “Game of Thrones,” “Veep” and “Silicon Valley.” “Game of Thrones,” which is expected to officially conclude in 2018, will head into season seven. The sixth season premiere of the medieval drama is this Sunday. “Veep,” starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus, moves into season six and “Silicon Valley” season four.
The number of new episodes for each series has not been confirmed, but previous seasons for the trio have been 10 episodes each. Recently, however, it was reported that “Game of Thrones” showrunners David Benioff and D. B. Weiss were considering two shorter final seasons.
