‘The Good Wife’ Spin-Off Gets Official Title

'The Good Fight' to Debut on CBS in February, then Move to CBS All Access

Upcoming “The Good Wife” spin-off, featuring Christine Baranski and Cush Jumbo reprising their roles as Diane Lockhart and Lucca Quinn, will be titled “The Good Fight.” The series will pick up one year after the end of “The Good Wife,” where the pair finds employment at a law firm in Chicago after an enormous financial scam has destroyed the reputation of a young lawyer, Maia, while simultaneously wiping out mentor Diane Lockhart’s savings.

“The Good Fight” will debut on CBS in February and then move to digital streamer CBS All Access. The cast includes Rose Leslie, Delroy Lindo, Sarah Steele, Paul Guilfoyle, Bernadette Peters and Erica Tazel. “The Good Wife” creators Robert and Michelle King will executive produce.

  1. The void of any creativity at CBS is becoming obvious.

    By copying the uncreative ways of their competitors they only insure their ratings will go the same way. 🙁
