HBO and Sky Order Comedy Horror Series ‘The Baby’

HBO and UK production company Sky are working together in the co-production of “The Baby.” The upcoming eight-episode series is described as a darkly comic horror series co-created by Siân Robins-Grace and Lucy Gaymer.  The logline: When 38-year-old Natasha is unexpectedly landed with a baby, her life of doing what she wants, when she wants, dramatically implodes. Controlling, manipulative and with violent powers, the baby twists Natasha’s life into a horror show. Where does it come from? What does it want? And what lengths will Natasha have to go to in order to get her life back?

The series, which will begin production in the UK in 2021, is co-created by Robins-Grace (“Kaos,” “Sex Education”), and Lucy Gaymer, who is a freelance line producer and production manager who has worked on Sky’s Gangs of London. It is produced by Sister and Robins-Grace and Gaymer’s Proverbial Pictures.
