HBO Renews ‘Last Week Tonight With John Oliver’ for Three Additional Seasons

HBO has ordered three new seasons of talker “Last Week Tonight With John Oliver,” taking it through 10 seasons 2023. Debuting in April 2014, “Last Week Tonight With John Oliver” takes a satirical look at news, politics and current events, but on a weekly basis.

“Last Week Tonight,” which airs Sundays at 11 p.m. ET, is currently on hiatus until Sept. 27, at which point it will focus on the upcoming 2020 presidential election.
