HBO, not surprisingly, has renewed Emmy Award-winning dramedy “Succession” for a fourth season. The pickup comes only two episodes into the current third season.

Debuting on June 3, 2018, “Succession” centers on the Roy family, the dysfunctional owners of Waystar RoyCo, a global media and entertainment conglomerate, who are fighting for control of the company amid uncertainty about the health of the family’s patriarch, Logan Roy (Brian Cox). In the current season, the members of the Roy family are engaged in a vicious fight for control of Waystar Royco, after Kendall (Jeremy Strong) publicly stabbed his CEO father in the back in an attempted coup.

The cast of “Succession” included Kieran Culkin, Sarah SNook, Matthew Macfadyen, Nicholas Braun, Alan Ruck, Hiam Abbass, Peter Friedman, Natalie Gold and Rob Yang.
