HBO Renews ‘The Deuce’ for Third – And Final – Season

The Current Second Season Opened on September 10th

HBO has greenlit drama “The Deuce,” starring James Franco and Maggie Gyllenhaal, for a final third season. Debuting on Sept. 10, 2017, “The Deuce” tells the story of the legalization and ensuing rise of the porn industry in New York City beginning in the 1970s. Season two of the drama, who is from David Simon and George Pelacanos of “The Wire,” opened Sept. 9..  

There is no confirmation of the number of episodes ordered, but eight in season one and nine is this current season signals the expectations.
