Meg Ryan to Headline ‘Picture in Paris’ Comedy at EPIX

Proposed Sitcom Waiting for Official Series Order

Meg Ryan will headline a potential upcoming comedy series for EPIX called “Picture in Paris,” which is a TV adaptation of Brad Hall’s short film of the same name and follows an empty-nester who abandons the suburbs for Paris. Comparably, this would be Ryan’s first regularly scheduled TV stint since short-lived ABC western “Wildside” in 1985. More recently, she has guest-starred on Lisa Kudrow’s “Web Therapy.”

Hall will write and direct the TV series adaptation, which he will executive produce with Ryan, Aaron Kaplan and Dana Honor. eOne is the studio and the sitcom, which is expected to get a straight-to-series order and will potentially be filmed in France if it does move forward.
