Monday Final Nationals: ‘The Bachelor’ Season Finale on ABC Rises with Young Demos Year-to-Year

NBC placed first on Monday among total viewers (10.43 million) and adults 25-54 (3.5 rating/10 share).

ABC won the younger demos crown, besting all in adults 18-49 (2.8/9) and adults 18-34 (2.6/11) with the season finale of “The Bachelor” and its live post-finale special “The Bachelor: After the Final Rose.” The series, featuring Ben Higgins as this season’s eligible bachelor, reached a season-high in all marks and even scored slightly larger audiences among the adults 18-49 (+3 percent; 3.68 million vs. 3.56 million) and 18-34 (+4 percent; 1.84 million vs. 1.77 million) crowd compared to the year-ago finale (Mar. 9, 2015) that had featured Iowan farmer Chris Soules.
