ABC, NBC and ABC’s sister network ESPN each shared leadership on Monday night.
ABC was Monday’s most-watched network with an average of 5.59 million viewers. NBC led among adults 25-54 (2.0 rating/6 share).
ESPN won prime time among adults 18-49 (approx. 1.7 rating) and adults 18-34 (approx. 1.6 rating) thanks to MLB All-Star festivities, primarily the “2016 Home Run Derby.” The event topped the day’s entire slate of cable entries.
Nonetheless, it was the lowest-rated (3.24 rating), second least-watched (5.52 million) Home Run Derby on record (since 1997).
