Monday Final Nationals: ‘New Celebrity Apprentice’ on NBC Concludes Season with a Whimper

CBS and ABC shared prime time leadership on this second Monday of the February sweeps period. CBS led in total viewers (7.13 million), ABC led in adults 18-49 (1.8 rating/6 share) and adults 18-34 (1.7/8). CBS and ABC tied for No. 1 among adults 25-54 (2.0/6).

The 1-hour season — or, series — finale of NBC’s “The New Celebrity Apprentice” with Arnold Schwarzenegger at the helm ranked fourth in the 9 p.m. hour in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54. Even the CW’s “Jane the Virgin” rated higher among adults 18-34.

The second week of Fox’s new Monday night of “24: Legacy” and “APB” suffered noticeable erosion from the previous Monday:

Episode #3 of “24: Legacy” (Fox) erosion from Monday premiere:
Total Viewers: -17 percent (5.142 million from 6.225 million)
Adults 18-49: -20 percent (1.2 rating from a 1.5 rating)

Episode #2 of “APB” (Fox) erosion from series premiere:
Total Viewers: -26 percent (4.528 million from 6.101 million)
Adults 18-49: -33 percent (1.0 rating from a 1.5 rating)
