Household Rating/Share
ABC: 3.9/ 7, NBC: 2.9/ 5, CBS: 2.1/ 5, Fox: 1.9/ 3, CW: 0.8/ 1

Percent Change Vs. the Comparable Year-Ago Week:
Fox: + 6, ABC and CBS: + 5 each, NBC: – 6, CW: -11

Ratings Breakdown:
It was an easy Monday overnight victory for ABC, with healthy “The Bachelorette” topping the night at a 4.8 rating/ 9 share in households from 8-10 p.m. Comparably, the first hour of “The Bachelorette” squashed the Monday 8-9 p.m. time period premiere of “Love Island” on CBS (#4: 1.4/ 3). This was a series low for “Love Island,” which dipped by 44 percent from the two repeat installments of sitcom “The Neighborhood” last week (avg. 2.5/ 4 on July 8).

On NBC, “American Ninja Warrior” was on the overnight map with a 3.0/ 5 from 8-9 p.m. That led into a dominant 2.8/ 5 for newsmagazine “Dateline” at 10 p.m., which bested competing “Grand Hotel” on ABC (#3: 2.3/ 4) by 22percent. Not so grand, is it?

Elsewhere, Fox had nothing unusual to report with its pairing of game show “Beat Shazam” (#3: 2.0/ 4 at 8 p.m.) and veteran “So You Think You Can Dance” (#4: 1.7/ 3 at 9 p.m.). Comparably, “So You Think You Can Dance” was down by 19 percent from the 2.1/ 4 in the Monday 8 p.m. hour on the year-ago evening.
