Monday Overnights: ‘America’s Got Talent: The Champions’ Finale Leads NBC to Solid Victory

Ratings Breakdown:
NBC dominated, as expected, thanks to the finale of “America’s Got Talent: The Champions” at a 6.8 rating/11 share in the household overnights from 8-10 p.m. Comparably, that bested competing “The Bachelor” on ABC (#2: 4.7/ 8), which remained a solid option, by 45 percent in household rating.

Also concluding for the season was freshman NBC drama “Manifest” (#3: 3.8/ 7), which trailed competing “Bull” on CBS (#1: 4.7/ 8) and “The Good Doctor” on ABC (#2: 4.2/ 8) by 19 percent and 10 percent, respectively. Look for the debut of drama “The Enemy Within” in the Monday 10 p.m. hour next week.

Elsewhere, three year-old CBS sitcom “Man With a Plan” (#4: 3.5/ 6 at 8:30 p.m.) dipped by 19 percent from already renewed lead-in “The Neighborhood” (#3: 4.3/ 7 at 8 p.m.). “Magnum, P.I.,” which is also confirmed to return, finished third in the Monday 9 p.m. hour with a 4.0/ 6.

Fox was at typical Monday overnight levels care of dramas “The Resident” (#4: 3.8/ 6 at 8 p.m.) and “The Passage” (#4: 2.7/ 4), which seems unlikely to return for a second season. And The CW was in repeats.
