Monday Overnights: ‘America’s Got Talent: The Champions’ Ignites NBC

Ratings Breakdown:
It was another easy Monday overnight victory for NBC thanks to “America’s Got Talent: The Champions,” which scored a hefty 6.7 rating/11 share in the household overnights from 8-10 p.m. Comparably, that bested competing “The Bachelor” on ABC (4.4/ 7), which was flat from one year earlier, by 52 percent. This summer, actress Gabrielle Union and dancer Julianne Hough (“Dancing With the Stars”) will be replacing Heidi Klum and Mel B as judges on “America’s Got Talent,” while Terry Crews will remain host.

Also on NBC was freshman drama “Manifest” at a 4.1/ 7 (#1), which trailed CBS’ competing “Bull” (#1: 4.6/ 9) by 11 percent but will win the hour in adults 18-49. ABC’s “The Good Doctor” (#3: 2.3/ 4) was a repeat.

On CBS, freshman sitcom “The Neighborhood” was a positive option at a second-place 4.9/ 8 in households in the 8 p.m. half-hour. Recent returnee “Man With a Plan” slipped to a 3.9/ 6 (#4) at 8:30 p.m., while “Big Brother: Celebrity Edition” slipped to a season low 2.6/ 4 (#4) from 9-10 p.m. “Big Brother: Celebrity Edition” concludes with a two-hour edition tomorrow.
