-Ratings Breakdown:
ABC inched past NBC for Monday overnight dominance, but the home of “The Voice” is still the network to beat in adults 18-49. “The Voice” scored a dominant 6.1 rating/10 share in households from 8-10 p.m., which was consistent with the year-ago evening and 15 percent above competing “Dancing With the Stars” on ABC (5.3/ 9). But 10 p.m. special, “A Very Wicked Halloween: Celebrating 15 Years on Broadway,” dropped the ball with a 2.6/ 4 (#3), which trailed competing “Bull” on CBS (#1: 5.2/ 9) and “The Good Doctor” on ABC (#3: 4.9/ 9) by 50 percent and 49 percent, respectively.

With weaker lead-in support, “The Good Doctor” dipped by 29 percent year-to-year.

In what could be the first new series cancellation of the season, CBS sitcom “Happy Together” dipped to a series-low 3.0/ 5 (#4) at 8:30 p.m., which dropped by 30 percent from lead-in “The Neighborhood” (#3: 4.3/ 7 at 8 p.m.) and was nine percent below year-ago time period occupant “9JKL” (3.3/ 6 on 10/30/17). As a reminder, Matt LeBlanc sitcom “Man With a Plan” is waiting in the wings.

“Happy Together” lead-our “Magnum, P.I.” also dipped to a series low, with a fourth-place 3.9/ 6 from 9-10 p.m. Comparably, that trailed competing “9-1-1” on Fox (#3: 4.3/ 7) by nine percent. “9-1-1” built by 10 percent from lead-in “The Resident” (#4: 3.9/ 6 at 8 p.m.), and will hold a greater advantage over “Magnum, P.I.” is all the key demos.

The CW capped off the evening with its uneventful pairing of “Arrow” (#5: 0.9/ 1 at 8 p.m.) and “D.C.’s Legends of Tomorrow” (#5: 0.7/ 1 at 9 p.m.).
