Monday Overnights: Soft Return for the ‘Great Christmas Light Fight’ on ABC

“The Voice” led NBC to opening week overnight victory, with a 5.9 rating/10 share in households from 8-10 p.m. Comparably, that bested the season premiere of holiday reality/competition “The Great Light Fight” on ABC (3.0/ 5 from 8-10 p.m.) by a hefty 97 percent, and it was on par from the year-ago evening.

ABC moved into the top overnight spot at 10 p.m. care of “The Good Doctor,” which scored a 4.8 in households. But that was actually 17 percent below the 5.8/10 on the year-ago week. Second at 10 p.m. was the fall season finale of NBC freshman drama “Manifest” at a 4.1/ 7, which slipped by 29 percent from the 9:30 p.m. portion of “The Voice” (5.8/ 9).

Elsewhere, Fox remains the most improved network on Monday care of the pairing of dramas “The Resident” (#3: 3.9/ 6 at 8 p.m.) and “9-1-1” (#2: 4.5/ 7). Both concluded their fall seasons. The CW had nothing unusual to report with dramas “Arrow” (#5: 1.1/ 2 at 8 p.m.) and “D.C.’s Legends of Tomorrow” (#5: 0.8/ 1 at 9 p.m.). And CBS was in all repeats.
