“America’s Got Talent: The Champions” successfully launched on NBC, with a 6.7 rating/11 share in the household overnights from 8-10 p.m. Comparably, that bested the first two-hours of the season-premiere of ABC’s “The Bachelor” (#2: 3.7/ 6) by 81 percent, and it was a whopping 123 percent, on average, above the combination of game show “The Wall” (3.3/ 5) and reality series “Better Late Than Never” (2.7/ 4) on the year-ago evening.

Overall, the three-hour telecast of “The Bachelor” on ABC scored a 3.7/ 6 from 8-11 p.m., which was seven percent below the 4.0/ 6 in the household overnights on the year-ago evening. In other words, “The Bachelor” successfully lives on.

With stellar lead-in support, NBC freshman drama “Manifest” topped the 10 p.m. hour with a 4.0/ 7.

Elsewhere, only failed CBS sitcom “Happy Together” (#3: 3.0/ 5 at 8:30 p.m.) was an original telecast last night. The remainder of the evening was all repeats.
