-Ratings Breakdown:
People’s Choice winner “The Voice” led NBC to Monday overnight victory, with a 5.9 rating/9 share in households from 8-10 p.m. Comparably, this bested “Dancing With the Stars” on ABC (#2: 5.3/ 8) by 11 percent, and will hold a significantly greater advantage in adults 18-49 (and all the key demos).
In a close three way battle at 10 p.m., dramas “The Good Doctor” on ABC and “Bull” on CBS tied for dominance with a 4.6/ 8, followed by NBC freshman drama “Manifest” at a 4.1/ 7. All three dramas resonate in DVR usage, and “Manifest” will win the hour in all the key demos.
Elsewhere, freshman CBS sitcom “Happy Together” remains close to cancellation, last night with a 3.1/ 5 at 8:30 p.m. (#3) out of a 4.2/ 7 (#3) for full season-renewed “The Neighborhood.” That led into a typically lackluster 3.9/ 6 (#3) for the reboot of “Magnum, P.I.” at 9 p.m. The CW could not compete with dramas “Arrow” (#5: 1.0/ 2 at 8 p.m.) and “D.C.’s Legends of Tomorrow” (#5: 0.8/ 1 at 9 p.m.), and both their existence to social media. And Fox was in repeats.
