Monday Ratings: ABC and CBS Share Modest Dominance; ‘American Ninja Warrior’ Deteriorates on NBC

CBS:3.04 million, ABC: 2.48, NBC: 2.31, Fox: 1.85, CW: 345,000

-Adults 18-49:
ABC: 0.5 rating/5 share, CBS and Fox: 0.3/ 3 each, NBC: 0.3/ 2, CW: 0.1/ 1

Even a diluted “The Bachelorette” is enough to top the evening in adults 18-49, with a 0.6 rating/6 share in the demo in the Monday 8-10 p.m. ET block. But it only managed to attract 2.80 million viewers, which trailed CBS’ repeat line-up. “The Bachelorette” faced NBC’s deteriorating “American Ninja Warrior” (Viewers: #3, 2.55 million; A18-49: #2t, 0.3/ 3 from 8-10 p.m.), and it led into recent ABC non-scripted entry “Claim to Fame” at 1.85 million viewers (#2) and a 0.3/ 3 in adults 18-49 (#1t) at 10 p.m. Considering “Claim To Fame” faced encores of “NCIS Hawai’i” on CBS and “The Weakest Link” on NBC, this is particularly alarming.

Elsewhere, Fox featured competition series “Don’t Forget the Lyrics” (Viewers: #2, 1.91 million; A18-49: #2t, 0.3/ 3 at 8 p.m.) and “Beat Shazam” (Viewers: #2, 1.80 million; A18-49: #2t, 0.3/ 2 at 9 p.m.). And The CW offered burn-off episodes of dramas “Roswell, New Mexico” (Viewers:439,000; A18-49: 0.1/ 1 at 8 p.m.) and “In the Dark” (Viewers: 252,000; A18-49: 0.1/ 0 at 9 p.m.).
