MONDAY FAST AFFILIATE RATINGS

MONDAY, MARCH 28, 2022

Total Viewers:
CBS: 5.86 million, ABC: 4.91, Fox: 4.26, NBC: 1.69, CW: 491,000

Adults 18-49:
ABC and Fox: 0.6 rating/5 share each, CBS: 0.5/ 4, NBC: 0.3/ 2, CW: 0.1/ 1

In the battle of the singing competitions, ABC’s “American Idol” had a clear advantage over recently introduced “American Song Contest” on NBC, which also paled in comparison to the normally scheduled “The Voice.” Take a look:

Monday 8-10 p.m. ET
“American Idol” (ABC)
Viewers: 5.45 million (#2), A18-49: 0.7 rating/5 share (#1 for the night)

“American Song Contest” (NBC)
Viewers: 1.82 million (#2), A18-49: 0.3/ 3 (#4)

Needless to say, NBC would have been better off having a spring edition of “The Voice” again.

Minus the lead-in support, freshman NBC drama “The Endgame” could be living up to its title this spring, with a mere 1.44 million viewers (#3) and a 0.2/ 2 in adults 18-49 (#3) at 10 p.m. Tops in the Monday 10 p.m. ET hour was CBS’ “NCIS: Hawai’i” (Viewers: 5.88 million; A18-49: #1, 0.5/ 4), which featured a crossover with “NCIS”, followed by ABC’s “The Good Doctor” (Viewers: #2, 3.81 million; A18-49: #2, 0.4/ 4).

Earlier in the evening on the Eye net was the perfectly compatible sitcom combination of “The Neighborhood” (Viewers: #2, 5.26 million; A18-49: #3, 0.6/ 5 at 8 p.m.) and “Bob Hearts Abishola” (Viewers: #2, 5.00 million; A18-49: #3, 0.5/ 4 at 8:30 p.m.), followed by granddaddy “NCIS” (Viewers: #1 for the night: 6.56 million; A18-49: #2t at 9 p.m.).

Elsewhere, Fox was on the Monday fast affiliate map care of dramas “9-1-1” (Viewers: #3, 4.78 million; A18-49: #2, 0.6/ 5 at 8 p.m.) and spin-off “9-1-1: Lone Star” (Viewers: #3, 3.75 million; A18-49: #2t, 0.5/ 4 at 9 p.m.). And The CW featured “All American” (Viewers: 591,000; A18-49: 0.1/ 1 at 8 p.m.), which is one of the few shows on the network to crack a 0.2 rating in adults 18-49, and spin-off “All American: Homecoming” (Viewers: 391,000; A18-49: 0.1/ 1 at 9 p.m.). Both dramas finished fifth in their respective time periods, of course.
