Coverage of the regional finals on the ongoing NCAA Basketball Tournament led CBS to Monday victory, with an estimated 5.95 million viewers and a 1.5 rating/10 share in adults 18-49 based on the fast affiliate ratings in primetime. As a reminder, results for any live sporting event are always approximate.

In the battle of the singing competitions, both “American Idol” on ABC and “The Voice” on NBC scored a distant second-place 0.7 rating in adults 18-49 behind basketball from 8-10 p.m. ET. But “The Voice” had the advantage in total viewers (5.80 to 4.83 million).

Elsewhere, the recent arrival of the revival of Fox’s “America’s Most Wanted”, hosted by Elizabeth Vargas, remained the fourth place option in the 9 p.m. hour (with 1.91 million viewers and a 0.3/ 2 in adults 18-49. It led out of a repeat of “9-1-1.” Freshman NBC drama “Debris” (Viewers: #3, 2.66 million; A18-49: #3, 0.3/ 2 at 10 p.m.) continues to squander the lead-in support from “The Voice.” Competing “The Good Doctor” on ABC (Viewers: #2, 4.19 million; A18-49: #2, 0.5/ 4) had a large advantage. And The CW’s combination of “Bulletproof” and “All American Stories” was nil. See network averages above.
