Nancy Grace to Depart HLN After 12 Years

Final Episode of Her Weekly Series Will Air on October 13

Nancy Grace, one of the most recognizable personalities on HLN, will depart after her current contract expires in October. Grace, 56, broke the news ‪Thursday morning to her staff of 18. “We created an unparalleled platform that gave crime victims a voice and succeeded in helping to find missing people and spotlight unsolved homicides,” she said in a statement. “The network has been my extended family for nearly a dozen years, and I am proud of the amazing work we’ve produced together.”

A new untitled series utilizing the expertise of Grace’s current team will replace “Nancy Grace” following the airing of the final episode ‪on Oct. 13.

Grace did not share specifics about her next venture, but did say, “I will continue my fight for justice across a variety of traditional and new media, where victims’ voices can reach an entirely engaged audience.”
