National Children’s Campaign Announces National Children’s Inauguration Encore

National Children’s Campaign hosted The National Children’s Inauguration, held a youth-led virtual celebration, on January 17th aimed at including children and families in the next administration’s priorities. The virtual event highlighted the issues that impact America’s 74 million children and hope to excite the next generation to be involved in civic engagement and democracy.

Tomorrow — Tuesday, January 19 — an encore telecast of the event will begin at 7 p.m. ET and streamed live on the event’s Facebook page. Registration can be completed on Mobilize.

The 90-minute presentation, co-hosted by NCI members Rani Chor, 16, from Los Angeles and Madison Pina, a 19-year-old sophomore at Howard University, features messages from a variety of guests.

Viewers will hear inspiring voices speaking to issues that impact youth, bringing those issues to the forefront as the new administration takes office. The program raises awareness and inspiration as the nation moves towards President Joe Biden’s and Vice President Kamala Harris’ January 20 inauguration.

Participating in the celebration are familiar faces like Alyssa Milano, Jo Frost (“Supernanny”), Congressman Jamaal Bowman, Senator Ed Markey, Marianne Williamson, Chinguun Sergelen from Nickelodeon’s “All That”, Devin Del Palacio, the National School Board Association’s Chair of the National Black Council of School Board Members, Mykal-Michelle Harris from the ABC sitcom “Mixed-Ish” and  singer and cellists, Raffi & Yo-Yo Ma.

The creators and executive Producers are Myreah Moore, Kimberly Gutzler and Noelle Dutch.
