NBC Cancels ‘Marlon’ and ‘Midnight Texas’

Both Aired for Two Seasons

NBC has opted against third seasons of sitcom “Marlon” and drama “Midnight Texas.”

“Marlon,” starring Marlon Wayons, focused on divorced couple Marlon Wayne and his ex-wife Ashley (Essence Atkins) try to stay friends for the sake of their two children. A total of 20 episodes were produced. And supernatural themed “Midnight Texas,” based on the book series of the same name by author Charlaine Harris, followed a young psychic Manfred Bernardo (Francois Arnaud) who is told by the ghost of his grandmother to seek out refuge in Midnight, Texas.  A total of 18 episodes of “Midnight Texas” were produced.
