NBC Orders Additional Episodes of the ‘Will & Grace’ Revival

12 Episodes Now on Tap

NBC, which announced a 10-episode pick-up for a new season of sitcom “Will & Grace,” has upped the episode order to 12. Originally airing from 1998 to 2006, the revival was prompted by a 10-minute episode released online in September that urged voters to back Hillary Clinton in the presidential election.

The limited series will reunite Emmy winners Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Sean Hayes, and Megan Mullally with series creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan, who will serve as showrunners and executive producers. James Burrows, who directed the entire eight-season run of the original series, will serve as director and executive producer on the revival. Universal Television will produce and distribute the new episodes.
