Ratings Breakdown:
NBC led this final August Monday in the household overnights, with summer favorite “American Ninja Warrior” at a 3.9 rating/6 share from 8-10 p.m. Comparably, that bested competing “Bachelor in Paradise” on ABC (3.6/ 6) and “So You Think You Can Dance” on Fox (2.0/ 3) by 8 percent and 95 percent, respectively. All three reality series were close to year-ago levels.

Also original last night was CW action/docuseries “Hooten & the Lady” at a fifth-place 0.6/ 1 at 9 p.m., and 10 p.m. occupants “Midnight, Texas” on NBC (#2: 2.0/ 4) and ABC game show “To Tell the Truth” (#3: 1.8/ 3), which the network decided to push back until midseason.
