Netflix Cancels Jaime Foxx Comedy ‘Dad Stop Embarrassing Me!’

Eight Episodes in Total Were Produced

Netflix has opted against a second season of father-daughter multi-camera sitcom “Dad Stop Embarrassing Me!”, which starred Oscar winner Jamie Foxx and was inspired by Foxx’s relationship with his daughter, Corinne Foxx, who produced alongside Alex Avant. Kyla-Drew played Foxx’s daughter, with David Alan Grier, Porscha Coleman and Jonathan Kite also appearing.

“Dad Stop Embarrassing Me!” joins two other recently canceled freshman Netflix series: superhero saga “Jupiter’s Legacy” and the teen drama “Grand Army.” Eight episodes of “Dad Stop Embarrassing Me! were produced.
