Netflix Cancels Sci-Fi Drama ‘Another Life’

Netflix has opted against a third season of science fiction drama “Another Life.” The series center on Katee Sackhoff as Niko Breckinridge, an astronaut leading a crew on a mission to explore the genesis of an alien artefact and to try and establish contact with the aliens who sent it.

“I’d like to thank everyone single person who watched & supported Another Life on Netflix,” Sackoff tweeted on Monday. “To our crew & cast thank you for always working so hard & being prepared. I wish we could do more seasons but sadly it’s just not in the cards. See you on the next adventure. Love Niko.”

“Another Life” also featured Selma Blair, Justin Chatwin, Samuel Anderson, Elizabeth Ludlow, Blu Hunt, A.J. Rivera, Alexander Eling, Alex Ozerov, Jake Abel, JayR TInaco,Lina Renna, Jessica Camacho, Barbara Williams, Parveen Dosanjh, Greg Hovanessian, Chanelle Peloso and Tyler Hoechlin. A total of 20 episodes were produced.
