Netflix Greenlights Y/A Dramedy ‘XO, Kitty’

Netflix has picked up the new Y/A series “XO, Kitty” from Awesomeness Studios, a spinoff inspired by the “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” film franchise and New York Times best-selling book series by Jenny Han. The logline: Teen matchmaker Kitty Song Covey (Anna Cathcart) thinks she knows everything there is to know about love. But when she moves halfway across the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, she’ll soon realize that relationships are a lot more complicated when it’s your own heart on the line.

Ten half-hour episodes of “XO, Kitty” have been ordered. The executive producers are series creator Jenny Han, Sascha Rothchild, and Matt Kaplan of ACE Entertainment. Han and Rothchild are also co-showrunners.
